The Haitian Prime Minister has declared that possibly 100,000 people have died as a result of the earthquake. The Red Cross says that up to 3 million people were affected. This tragedy has affect so many. And you can play your part. This Sunday at Harbor Church, we will be taking up an offering to benefit the families and communities affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Whether you are a part of Harbor Church or you are just a Portsmouth community member looking to help out, come on Sunday to contribute to our love offering that will go directly to the aid of those affected by the earthquake. All the proceeds from the offering will go directly to Samaritan's Purse. Join us at 4pm to bring your contribution or click the "donate" button at the upper right-hand corner of the website (please mark as "HAITI" so that it is included in the love offering). We are also organizing a clothes drive. They will be taken to the Red Cross in Boston on the 21st and shipped to Haiti. If you are interested in donating clothes - all sizes boy, girl, men, women summer clothes. Then please bring them Sunday or to the office by Wednesday.
